Description
Job Title: Chief Accountant/Accounting Supervisor
Gender: Female

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all activities of the accounting department
- Ensure that all the financial transactions of the company are done in professional and organized manners.
- Working to accurately enter the financial operations into the accounting system on a timely basis.
- Review daily payments/transactions. Ensure accurate calculation, correct authorization and documentation as well as compliance with company procedures and standards.
- Ensure that financial transactions are accompanied by appropriate and relevant supporting documents signed and authorized by the company manager.
- Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures.
- Ensure payment and receipt vouchers are duly completed and attached with appropriate supporting documents to provide adequate/accurate information on accounting transactions.
- Ensure legitimacy in accounts
- Follow up the salaries and wages of employees and workers and prepare their reports and submit them to the management on a monthly basis.
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly accounts (including all monthly records)
- Provide financial information for managers and other staff as required.
- Preparing the monthly report of debtors/creditors, outstanding payments and other items.
- With the support of the CFO, ensure high quality reports are prepared to suppliers and customers in a timely manner
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Perform regular cash and bank reconciliations, check amounts held and report any discrepancies
- Prepare copies of vouchers and other supporting documents as required for the monthly report package.
- To check all cash and bank receipts and check them after stamping and maintaining the system of keeping and maintaining the receipts so that the files are updated, completed and preserved.
- Maintaining a financial archiving room.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Required Several years only in a similar position.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Honest, encourages openness and transparency, builds trust and confidence.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately and attention to detail especially under pressure.
- Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills, ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Good organization and administration skills to ensure that all documentation is filed on a timely basis and is easily accessible.
- Excellent communication skills on the phone, face-to-face
- Ability to work within set guidelines for the payment of invoices or expenses.
- ERP software experience and knowledge required
- Experience (supervisor level)
- Willing in working for emergency responses.
- Efficiency and adaptability.
