We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial operations in our Oman office. This pivotal role involves overseeing all financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities, ensuring the fiscal health and strategic growth of our regional operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong understanding of Omani financial regulations and a commitment to driving financial excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage and oversee all daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
* Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management, providing actionable insights into financial performance.
* Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
* Lead the annual budgeting process and strategic financial planning, collaborating with various departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
* Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all Omani tax laws, statutory reporting requirements, and external audits.
* Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions, optimizing liquidity and investment opportunities while mitigating financial risks.
* Provide financial leadership and guidance to the Oman team, fostering a culture of financial accountability and efficiency.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
* Proven experience working within the Omani market, demonstrating a strong understanding of local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CA) is highly preferred.
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into strategic business recommendations.
* Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
**Preferred Skills:**
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oddoo, Microsoft Dynamics).
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing finance professionals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Fluency in Arabic is a significant advantage, enabling effective communication within the local business environment.
